Over the years Dave Liebman, The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, John Abercrombie, Arturo O'farrell, Lenny White, Buster Williams and Wallace Roney have appeared.
But what distinguishes this series from others is the focus on the region's deep resource of jazz talent living in the greater Hudson Valley area.
This is a multi-location, mixed environment festival offering everything from a 17 piece big band to jazz improv, bop, cool jazz and several vocalists covering both original material and standards.
Afternoons and evenings in a park, restaurants, libraries, clubs, performing arts centers, cafes, a chapel and breweries present shows. Many with either very low or no admission cost at all.
